This is a hands-on position for an Electrical Engineer with an interest in electronic circuit and power distribution design for electro-mechanical applications, including servo control of fractional and multi-horsepower electro-mechanical systems. This position is defined by a broad range of design activities which include the generation of new designs and the reuse and modification of existing designs for custom applications. The technical responsibilities can include assembly and subassembly definition, interconnectivity and communication architecture, power distribution, safety considerations, and reliability. The design engineer will incorporate military design standards and commercial code requirements into designs and prepare bills of material.
Generates block diagrams, power budgeting, and general performance analysis.
Performs analog and digital circuit design and analysis, generation of schematic diagrams, parts lists, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and test plans and procedures.
Shares responsibility for system-level and sub-assembly level integration and the initial testing of new designs.
Generates test plans and procedures and provides technical inputs for product technical manuals.
Proposes technical solutions, prepares studies and reports, maintains engineering data, and participates in meetings and reviews.
Works within the constraints of job budgets and schedules and reports status supervisor and program managers.
Prepares and presents design and programmatic materials at both customer and internal design reviews.
Supports Business Development in the preparation of technical proposals and provides direct support to customers and L3 field technicians.
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years experience in the design of electrical/electronic circuits and/or wire harness assemblies is required.
A solid background in electrical engineering and electronic systems in harsh environments is desired.
Must have a strong understanding of engineering practices and possess strong time management, written and oral communications skills. The candidate must also be able to provide support for multiple programs, proposal efforts, the program office, and customers.
Must possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Previous experience with microwave and RF antenna and telemetry systems is a plus.
Must be proficient in the use of OrCAD, AutoCAD LT, and MS Office products.
Some domestic and foreign travel may be required. The engineer must be able to work both independently with minimum supervision and as a team member. The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
