Office Assistant/Jr. Recruiter (will train for recruitment)

Directs and coordinates office services and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Recruitment & Staffing
Utilizes recruitment sources; exhibits sound interviewing skills.
Assist with sourcing and recruiting candidates.
Sourcing suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunities offered by the client.
Advising on and selling the most appropriate solution for attracting candidates and maintaining a candidate database.
Work closely with Hiring Managers to coordinate and schedule interviews
Generate background screening, on-boarding, update and maintain recruiting trackers
Conduct reference checks via phone, generate offer letters and packets
Managing the process through interview to offer stage and beyond
Manage internship program, write reports, and general support for the Recruiting team
Assessing and responding to the needs of each particular client or assignment

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
