CDSI is searching for a bright and enthusiastic Technical Writer to assist in our development of products relating to RF distribution/conditioning, high-speed digital acquisition, power distribution, digital-signal conditioning and distribution.
As part of your duties, you will produce documents, with the help of the Engineers and Program Managers, ranging from Acceptance Test Procedures to User Guides, Data Sheets, Requirements.
Job Duties:
Reports to the Chief Engineer.
Have an excellent command of written English.
Work with Engineers, Project Managers and Users to understand our products and procedures sufficiently to write understandable documentation for software, firmware and hardware.
Produce readable and understandable User Guides, Data Sheets and Manuals, including online documents.
Be proactive and self-directed.
Develop a consistent look and feel for our documentation.
Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Communications or equivalent and/or significant relevant experience of 5
years.
Skills/
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related PCB training or equivalent work experience of 5
years.
5
years of experience in Engineering technical writing.
Producing charts and graphs with technical information.
Microsoft Office.
Libreoffice.
Document Control:
store, manage, maintain, organize document library.
Document version control.
Record management.
Interpersonal communication skills.
Good verbal communication skills are essential.
A good sense of humor is helpful.
Ideally, the candidate will also have:
Experience in documenting antenna systems.
Familiarity with Atlassian set of collaboration and administrative tools.
